Epidemiologist & Public Health Consultant
Isabelle Devaux, MPH, PhD, is an epidemiologist and public health specialist with over twenty-five years of international experience with the World Health Organization (WHO), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and Santé publique France.
She currently supports institutions, NGOs, and governments in establishing epidemiological surveillance systems, strengthening national public health capacities, managing health emergencies, and conducting health data analysis and modelling. Her expertise also includes the design and evaluation of health information systems and the development of strategies that incorporate the One Health approach.
Isabelle Devaux has coordinated numerous field missions and strategic projects related to major epidemics (Ebola, COVID-19, cholera), while contributing to the training and mentoring of public health professionals in diverse international contexts.
A strong advocate for innovation, she focuses on integrating generative artificial intelligence and data science tools into public health research, surveillance, and decision-making.
Based between Switzerland and France, she provides consulting, technical support, and training services for public sector institutions, humanitarian organizations, and academic partners.
